Fort Fin Castel
This Fort was constructed of cut limestone c. 1793 and strategically placed atop Bennet's Hill to protect historic Nassau town and its harbor; it was built under the governorship of John Murray, also called Viscount Fincastle, in the shape of a paddle-wheel steamer.

Fort Montagu
Fort Montagu is a small fort of four cannon on the eastern shore of New Providence Island (Nassau) Bahamas. Peter Henry Bruce oversaw the construction of the fort that began in 1741 to defend the British possession from Spanish invaders.

Fort Charlotte
Fort Charlotte, the largest one on New Providence at 100 acres. Located one mile west of downtown Nassau, just off West Bay Street, it sits on a hill overlooking the far west end of the harbor, commanding an impressive view of Paradise Island, Nassau, and the harbor.

Montagu Beach
Montagu is east of downtown Nassau; you’ll find Montagu Beach. This is one of the smaller beaches in New Providence but it’s a popular spot for locals to relax on a lunch break, enjoy a picnic, or simply enjoy the sun and sand.
